Hawksbill turtles got decimated for ages, killed to make “tortoise shell” combs, brushes, mirror handles and other vanity chachkas. Now critically endangered, they hang on by a thread. This beauty came on from afar, as they will do, to pass by for a closer look, on the way into deeper and bluer blue.
